Stiles’ new approach pays off in points

By Dick Patrick
(December 29, 1998)

Southwest Missouri has its own version of a basketball lockout. Coach Cheryl Burnett has ordered Jackie Stiles out of the gym on off days and discouraged her 2 a.m. shooting sessions. A great vertical.”

By Joe Drape
The New York Times
(January 16, 1998)
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.It might have come easily, but Jackie Stiles was too afraid to stop practicing and find out.
